Madhyapradesh Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made announcement of Mukhyamantri Krishi Utpadakta Protsahan Yojana for
fair price to farmers for their produce. The Madhyapradesh Chief Minister said that this year Rs 1,735 per quintal has been announced as the
support price for wheat by the Prime Minister which will be increased to Rs 2000 per quintal after adding the incentive and given to farmers.
The CM told that e-procurement of 67.25 lakh metric tonne wheat on support price was made in Rabi 2016-17. Rs 1340 crore will be paid
to 7.38 lakh farmers. E-procurement of Rs 16.59 lakh metric tonne paddy on support price in Kharif 2017 was made of which Rs 330 crore to
2.83 lakh farmers.

He said that under this scheme farmers will be given Rs 200 per quintal incentive in the support price on which wheat and paddy was purchased
in the year 2017.
He said the bonus amount of Rs 200 per quintal will also be given on paddy next year.
