India outplayed New Zealand by 7-1 today in the Sultan of Johor Cup Junior Men’s hockey tournament. It is India’s second victory in as many matches in the event being held in Johor Bahru in Malaysia.
Yesterday, India started their campaign by overcoming hosts Malaysia 2-1 in a hard fought encounter. India now top the table with six points. India’s next fixture will be against Japan on Tuesday.
