In Cricket, India beat Australia by 48 runs in their final match of the group stage in the ICC Women’s World T20 at Providence in Guyana. Chasing a target of 168 runs last night, Australian eves scored only 119 in 19.4 overs. Anuja Patil took 3 wickets for India. Earlier India scored 167 for eight in the scheduled 20 overs. Opener Smriti Mandhana scored a blistering 83 and Harmanpreet Kaur smashed a quick 43.India and Australia have already stormed into the semifinals.
