Overall 75.2 per cent polling was witnessed across Jammu and Kashmir in the third Phase of Panchayat Polls held on Saturday. According to the Chief Electoral Officer, Shaleen Kabra, an overwhelming 83 per cent polling was witnessed in Jammu division and 55.7 per cent in Kashmir division.
Our correspondent reports that counting of votes has begun and the results are expected by tonight or tomorrow morning.
For the fourth Phase of Panchayat Polls, voting will take place on 27th of this month.
