The Supreme Court has directed sealing of nine properties of real estate firm Amrapali situated in Noida and other places where the documents related to its 46 group companies are kept.
A bench of Justices U U Lalit and D Y Chandrachud ordered sealing of seven properties at Noida and Greater Noida and two properties at Rajgir and Buxar in Bihar saying that after sealing of these properties, its keys be handed over to the registrar of the apex court.

The apex court had sent three directors to police custody on Tuesday for non-compliance with its orders. The apex court yesterday made it clear that the three directors could be released from the police custody if the nine premises at Noida and other places are sealed.
