Madhyapradesh State Vaccination Officer Dr. Santosh Shukla has informed that vaccination of all the children living with the women prisoners in jails of the state will be completed during
the next 3 days. All the necessary arrangements have been made for this. Vaccination of 2,66,821 Children and 56, 793 Women
First time in the country, vaccination of 4 children living along with the prisoners in women jail of Vidisha has been carried out under the Saghan Mission
Indradhanush. Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Shri J.P. Nadda lauded this activity on twitter.

Mission was started by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on October 8, 2017.
Over 47 thousand sessions have been completed under the 4 phases of Sghan Mission Indradhanush till now. Under these sessions, vaccination of 2 lakh
66 thousand 821 of new born babies up to the age of 2 years and 56 thousand 793 pregnant women has been carried out.
